1.     Candidates must have completed their Bachelors degree from any recognized University / Institutions.

2.     Candidates need a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in their bachelor's degree.

Specific course requirements:-

·         M.Tech in Agricultural Engineering: You must hold a B.Tech, B.Sc., or B.E. degree in Agricultural Engineering, Food Engineering, or Food Technology (10+2+4 system) from a recognized university. A minimum OGPA of 6.00/10.00 or 60% marks is required.

·         MBA in Agri-Business Management: Candidates must have a graduation in Agriculture or a related field with at least 60% marks. 

IGKV CET Exam Pattern

For admission to postgraduate (PG) programs, IGKV conducts its own Common Entrance Test (CET), sometimes called CG PGET. The exam is designed for candidates who have a bachelor's degree in agriculture or a related field.

·         Format: Offline with objective, multiple-choice questions.

·         Duration: 3 hours.

·         Total questions: 200 questions.

·         Marking: 1 mark for each correct answer. There is no negative marking.

·         Subject groups: The question paper includes different subject groupings depending on the applicant's stream.

o    For Agriculture Group: The subjects are Elements of Science Mathematics useful for Agriculture, Crop Production & Horticulture, and Elements of Animal Husbandry & Poultry Farming.

o    For other groups: Subjects include Physics, Chemistry, and either Mathematics or Biology
