Overview
The Sarabhai Institute of Science and Technology (SIST) is an engineering college located in Vellanad, near Trivandrum City, Kerala. The Institute was founded in 2004 by the Space Engineers Welfare Society, which consists of retired scientists from the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). It is affiliated with the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. In February 2025, a Google reviewer noted that the college had tied up with Leads College of Management and was expanding its offerings.
The campus has a library with a collection of over 25,000 books and a digital library with video lectures from the National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL). It offers separate hostel facilities for boys and girls and bus services for students and staff. The campus also includes a canteen.

Eligibility Criteria for appearing in SIST Exam
1. Candidate must be Indian citizens.
2. Candidate must complete their Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent.
3. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) must be studied.
4. Candidate must have scored
Merit Seats: Minimum 50% marks in Mathematics and a combined 50% marks in Physics and Chemistry/equivalent subjects.
Management Seats: Minimum 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry/equivalent subjects put together.
Relaxation: A 5% relaxation is provided for Socially and Educationally Backward Classes, while SC/ST candidates only need to pass the qualifying examination.
5. A valid score in the KEAM entrance examination is required for admission.
6. Candidate must be at least 17 years old.
