WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) is a state-level exam conducted by the WBJEE Board. Through this exam, students get admission into UG program in the field of Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy, and Architecture. Students qualifying for this entrance test will be eligible for admission into various courses in Govt. colleges, universities, and self-financed institutions of West Bengal.

WBJEE Exam Tentative Date
West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam. It is a state-level exam conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) every year in an offline mode. Candidates seeking admission to Engineering and Pharmacy programmes in government and private institutes of West Bengal have to qualify WBJEE.

WBJEE Eligibility Criteria
1. Nationality: Students must be Indian citizens.
2. Age Limit: Applying candidates minimum age limit should be 17 years as of 31st December.
3. Upper Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for other courses, for marine engineering, the upper age limit is 25 years as of 31st December.
4. Qualifying Percentage & Subjects: In the 12th level, students must have passed with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects and anyone from the Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science & Computer Application securing 45% marks (40% marks for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PwD categories) in the qualifying subjects.
5. English: Candidate must have qualified English at 10+2 level with minimum 30% marks.
WBJEE Application Form
WBJEEB has released the WBJEE application form at the official website. Candidates will be able to apply online. Before filling the application form, students are advised to check the WBJEE eligibility criteria laid down by the authorities.
1. Candidates must confirm their eligibility before applying for the examination as only eligible candidates will be allowed to participate in the examination.
2. Candidates must fill the application form very carefully though authority will also provide the correction facility in the application form.
3. The details like Candidates Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Gender, domicile and Date of birth must be filled very carefully.
4. Applicants are advised to keep the printout of filled application form and fee receipt for future references.
WBJEE Exam Pattern
1. Exam Mode: The test will be conducted through OMR-based (offline mode).
2. Type of Questions: The exam paper will contain multiple-choice questions with four options against each question.
3. Papers: The test will be divided into two papers, i.e. Paper I mathematics and Paper II physics & chemistry.
4. Shift: The test will be conducted in two shifts –the morning shift & the afternoon shift.
5. Answering Mode: Candidates are required to use blue/black ballpoint pen to answer the questions.
