B. Tech in Business Analytics imparts core knowledge about data, specialization in Business Analytics. In fields such as Design Engineering, Computing/ IT Consultancy, and Solution- Building skills such as System/ Network Administrators or IT Managers, active graduates of the course are recruited.
Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech Business Analytics
1. Passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects.
2. Obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates) in the above subjects taken together.
3. Admissions in Bachelor courses are also done through both merit and entrance exams. JEE, UPESEAT, VITEEE, KCET, HITSEEE, and more are conducted for admission in the Bachelor's programs of top colleges in India.
Admission Process
1. Colleges publish admission notices on their website from June when most Indian universities would have finished degree exams.
2. Candidate to apply for each college, as each college considers each mark the cut-off mark.
3. Some private colleges and deemed universities perform their counselling process by conducting their university-level entrance exams.
4. Some colleges require a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying examination.
5. Candidates who qualify for the test are called for an interview before the final seat allotment.
6. Some of the entrance exams for BTech are JEE Main, WBJEE, JEE Advanced, KCET etc.
