Dr. BRKR Government Ayurvedic Medical College is a Govt. Ayurved Institute, located in Hyderabad, Telangana. This Institute was established in the year 1935 as a Private College by pioneering Vaidyas like Shri Shankar Prashad Hargovind, Sri M. Ranga Charya, Sri D. Ramana Raju, Sri Janardhan, Sri Ramanujam Swamy, Sri Radha Kishanji, Sri Narsing Prasad Markandeya and Sri Ramdas, but In 1941 His Excellency, Highness and Nizam of Hyderabad issued “FIRMAN” making it a Government Ayurvedic College and Pandit Radhakrishnaji was appointed as the first Principal of the College. Affiliated to N.T.R. University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada in 1986 and Approved by CCIM & Ministry of Ayush, New Delhi in 1973.
