Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering is an undergraduate course. Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like bridges, roads, canals, dams, and buildings.
Civil engineering subjects such as civil and architectural engineering, minerals and statics, geomechanics, and structural mechanics provide the students with a solid foundation to plan, build, oversee, and maintain durable structures in the public and private sectors.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Aspirants must have passed a 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized central or state board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
2. Students should have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% in the aforementioned subjects at the qualifying level and pass marks in the remaining subjects.
3. The admission process to the BTech program is done through the entrance exams such as - JEE Main, JEE Advanced, MHCET, KCET, and other exams.
