University of Delhi (DU), Informally Known as Delhi University is one of the oldest Central University, located in New Delhi (India). This University was established in the year 1922 by an act of the Central Legislative Assembly. It is Affiliated to Government of India ; Approved by University Grant Commission (UGC), New Delhi & Accredited by NAAC with Grade A+. It is India's largest institution of higher learning and among the largest in the world. There is 91 Colleges affiliated to this university and spread over Mainly south campus & north campus (the two main campuses of university of delhi). The Vice President of India serves as the Chancellor of University.
