Dronacharya Cricket Academy is a premier learning centre for acquiring skills and techniques of cricket which has religion like passion in India.

Established in the year 2000, by Mr. Gurcharan Singh, recipient of Dronacharya Award, highest award conferred to a coach by Government of India, it has emerged as one of the most popular and respected cricket academy of Delhi and NCR. Catering to hundreds of aspiring youngsters who get to hone their skills under direct supervision of some of the most well-known and experienced coaches, Dronacharya Cricket Academy is now name synonymous with best in class center of excellence for learning the most popular sport of the country.

Mr. Gurcharan Singh has the distinction of having trained highest number of international and national players any coach has trained. He has trained 12 international players and more than 100 national players.

For Mr. Gurcharan Singh the Academy has been source to realize his passion for providing the youngsters the best of ground facilities, the equipment and the coaches.

Having worked relentlessly for over 6 decades, coaching some of the finest cricketers of India and creating teams which excelled at national and international levels, Mr. Gurcharan Singh is respected by large fraternity of cricketers and sports lovers. He remains an active coach at his academy even today and leads team of the finest teachers imparting best training lessons to the aspiring cricket stars. The main purpose of establishing the Dronacharya Cricket Academy initially was to provide stout grooming to the talent from East Delhi and NCR who, otherwise, had to commute long distances to reach the Sports Authority of India coaching centers at New Delhi.
