Our Mission Statement
The mission of St. Joseph Dental College, Eluru, is to prepare students for a career in dental surgery requiring an intensive 5-year effort on part of both the faculty and the individual undergraduates. Through the training of dedicated generalized dental personnel, the college aims at making an effective contribution to dental education, research and oral health care needs of the country in general and the community n particular, especially the undeserved. The institution’s approach to this mission is to:
Attain excellence in dental health education·
Serve the oral health care needs of all people with compassion irrespective of religion, caste or creed, particularly the poor and the needy·
Inculcate moral values amongst students so as to mould them into doctors who would lead a principled life of honesty and integrity·
Give a special emphasis on community oriented service through the graining and effective participation of members of the community·
Acquire procedural skills in various aspects of dental surgery
