UP Rural Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Etawah (UP Rural Medical College Etawah) is one of the best Government Medical Colleges. It is also known as the Uttar Pradesh University Of Medical Science. It was established in the year 2006, now become a university in 2016.
The Medical College offers courses in the field of medical sciences, at the undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate levels. The campus is good and spread over a sprawling green field in a pollution-free and healthy environment.
The college also runs a 100+ bedded hospital with accommodation, Operation Theatres, Labs, Casualty, OPD, Pharmacy, Blood Bank, Critical Care, etc.
