National Institute of Unani Medicine (NIUM) is an Autonomous Organization of research and training in Unani medicine, located in Bangalore (Karnataka). This Institution was established in the year 1984 under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India. This is recognized by CCIM & Ministry of Ayush, New Delhi. Institute Offers Post Graduate Courses in Various Specialization. This Institute has the credit to start PhD course from the session 2014-15 in Unani Medicine for the first time in this country.
