About Us
The Government of Andhra Pradesh renamed Dr. N.T.R. University of Health Sciences as Dr.Y.S.R UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES by amending sub section 2 of section 1 of Dr. N.T.R. University of Health Sciences (Amendment) Act, 2022. The Act No.19 of 2022 was published in extraordinary issue of the in Andhra Pradesh Gazette No.19 Part IV-B Dated - 28-10-2022.

Functions
The University is offering various UG, PG, Super Speciality, Ph.D & PDF Courses in Modern Medicine, Dental Surgery, Ayurveda, Unani, Homeopathy, Naturopathy, Nursing, Physiotherapy and Para Medical Graduate Courses in its affiliated colleges. The total number of colleges affiliated to the University have gone up from 27 at the time of inception to 271 as on date.
